Pirate Themed Messenger Bag - New

Our new messenger bag design makes a statement in red.

The pirate embroidery was inspired by the movie The Pirates of the Caribbean.

The Skull and Crossbones are embroidered in white and black.

This messenger bag offers two pockets and one divider inside. It also offers two pockets on the outside just under the flap.

Fully lined and padded.

Measures 17 1/2" wide by 12" tall by  4" deep.

The strap on this one is 39" from side seam to side seam.

Flap has a Velcro (hook and loop) closure.

From Sketch to Embroidery - Orca

This is the Orca I sketched earlier this month. I drew the Orca from a picture of a live whale in the ocean. Of course, I didn't take the picture but it took a while to find one online that showed the whale from a full side view. The photo I used was taken by a professional driver taking pictures of Orcas in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California. After I drew the whale in a simple form, I transferred it to an embroidery design. The test embroidery is shown below.

Growing up in California was in no way lacking on things to do. I remember seeing my first killer whale when I was 6 years old. My school took us to Sea World as a field Trip. The whole class got to see Shamu jump in the air and get us all wet as the huge animal splashed back into the giant pool. I bought a Shamu stuffed animal with my spending money my parents gave me for the day.

From Sketch to Embroidery - Sheep

This is a very quick and simple sketch of a sheep from memory. As you can see I had a few problems with the drawing.

As you can see I made a few changes to the design. I changed the shape of the head and removed two of the four legs. I used a scallop design I created two years ago and shrunk it down to use it as the fluffy look in the outline. After spending quite a few ours on the design I finally got something that looked like a sheep.
Bah Bah Black Sheep!!!
